Boys’ cross country and girls’ soccer shine in Week 7

A look back on all the Week 7 action at Whitman-Hanson Regional High:


Boys’ cross country (5-3) topped Silver Lake (18-45) and Scituate (22-39) in a tri-meet on Tuesday, Oct. 15. Junior Theo Kamperides finished the 2.81-mile course in the top spot with a time of 16:14.

Girls’ cross country (3-5) fell to Silver Lake (18-41) but beat Scituate (19-44) in a Tuesday, Oct. 15 tri-meet. Sophomore Myah Kamperides finished third overall to pace the Panthers with a time of 20:09.

Field hockey (3-8-4) began the week on Tuesday, Oct. 15 with a 1-0 loss to West Bridgewater. … On Thursday, the Panthers struggled the find the back of the net again — getting shut out by Hingham, 3-0. … They turned it around Sunday for a 2-1 win over Norwell. Sophomores Joli Flamos and Olivia Phelps provided the offense, while the defense held of its end of the bargain.

Football (2-5) was routed by Duxbury, 41-8, Friday, Oct. 18. Senior captain Tommy George scored the lone Panther TD, and junior Declan Hanaphy recorded a safety.

Boys’ golf (4-11) wrapped up its season with a 268-270 victory over Duxbury. Junior Aidan Miller stole the show on senior night, shooting a 3-over par 39.

Boys’ soccer (8-7-1) got a goal from sophomore Jayden Stafford to top Martha’s Vineyard, 1-0, Tuesday, Oct. 14. … On Wednesday, senior captain Jason Brodeur scored to send the Panthers past Plymouth North, 1-0. Senior Andrew Sullivan had the shutout in both wins. … On Thursday, Broduer scored again, but the Panthers fell to Silver Lake, 3-1.

Girls’ soccer (12-1-1) kicked off the week with a 2-1 victory over Plymouth North on Tuesday, Oct. 15 to secure the Patriot League Keenan Division title. Seniors Riley Bina and Anika Floeck scored for W-H. … On Thursday, sophomore Olivia Borgen netted a hat trick to send W-H over Silver Lake, 3-0. The victory was the 350th of head coach David Floeck’s career. … On Saturday, sophomore Kelsee Wozniak went off for a hat trick and Borgen added another goal as W-H avenged its only loss of the season, topping Weymouth, 4-0.

Girls’ volleyball (11-7) swept Silver Lake, 3-0, Tuesday, Oct. 15 to capture its 11th win of the season. The set scores were: 25-16, 25-10 and 25-12. Junior Delaney Rowell had nine kills and sophomore Lily Welch tallied five kills and two solo blocks. … On Thursday, W-H fell to Duxbury, 3-0 (9-15, 24-26, 12-24). Welch had five kills and, four block assists and three solo blocks. On Saturday, Samantha Richer’s club fell to Rockland, 3-0 (9-25, 24-26, 12-25). Welch had four kills, three solo blocks and four block assists in the loss.

Girls’ soccer, volleyball qualify for tournament in Week 6

The rain put a halt to much of the action for Week 6, but a pair of the games that were played resulted in a trip to the postseason.


Boys’ cross country (3-3) just barely dropped its meet to Duxbury on Tuesday, Oct. 8, 26-29. Junior Theo Kamperides took first overall with a time of 16:24.

Girls’ cross country (2-4) got a first-place finish for Myah Kamperides (20:14) but was let down by the rest of its pack, as it fell to Duxbury, 20-35, Tuesday, Oct. 8.

Field hockey (2-6-4) dropped its game against Plymouth North, 5-2, Tuesday, Oct. 8. Sophomores Lauren Dunn and Olivia Phelps provided the Panthers’ offense.

Football (2-4) couldn’t hold on to its 6-0 lead and fell to Marshfield, 20-6, Saturday, Oct. 12. Junior Cam Cummings scored the lone Panthers touchdown.

Boys’ golf (3-11) kicked off the week dropping a 224-228 decision to Plymouth North on Monday, Oct. 7. Sophomore Chris Ross shot a 5-over par 36 for W-H. … On Tuesday, Brian Dempsey’s club fell to Silver Lake, 265-274. Senior captain Ian Brown was the low man for W-H, carding a 7-over par.

Boys’ soccer (6-6-1) was edged by Marshfield, 1-0, Monday, Oct. 7.

Girls’ soccer (9-1-1) received a goal and an assist each from junior Alexis Billings and sophomore Olivia Borgen to get by Marshfield, 2-0, Tuesday, Oct. 7. The Panthers qualified for the tournament for the 19th straight year with the win.

Girls’ volleyball (10-5) had a busy week. On Monday, Oct. 7, Samantha Richner’s club swept Marshfield, 3-0 (25-16, 25-14, 25-19). Junior Sophia Berardinelli led W-H with six aces, while senior Brooke Beauregard chipped in 22 digs. … On Thursday, W-H drooped a nail bitter to Hingham, 3-2. The set scores were: 24-26, 15-25, 25-21, 30-28, 10-15. Junior Kayla Faghan and senior captain Olivia Martin tallied six kills apiece. … On Friday, W-H powered by Plymouth North, 3-2 (25-23, 20-25, 24-26, 25-23, 15-11), and qualified for the tournament for the first time since 2016. Junior Delaney Rowell had seven kills, while sophomore Megan Stone pitched in five.

Dissecting Week 5

A look back on the fifth week of fall sports action at Whitman-Hanson Regional High.


Boys’ cross country (3-2) split a tri-meet on Tuesday, Oct. 1, falling to Hingham, 25-30, while topping Pembroke, 15-50. Junior Theo Kamperides finished first overall for W-H with a time of 16:09.

Girls’ cross country (2-3) also split its tri-meet on Tuesday, Oct. 1, falling to Hingham, 20-43, and cruising past Pembroke, 15-50. Sophomore Myah Kamperides took first overall at 19:47, but Hingham placed the next nine runners.

Field hockey (2-5-4) played to three ties. On Monday, Sept. 30, junior Brooke Nisby scored as the Panthers tied Norwell, 1-1. … On Thursday, junior Madi Savicke notched a shutout in net, as W-H tied Hanover, 0-0. Senior captain Victoria Ryan and juniors Noel Cornetta and Skylar Leonard clamped down on defense. … Then on Friday, Savicke recorded another shutout, as Todd Humphrey’s squad played to a 0-0 draw against Marshfield.

Football (2-3) routed Plymouth North, 35-14, Saturday, Oct. 5. Junior quarterback Jason Murphy hooked up with senior wide out Colby Garden for a pair of TD passes in the win.

Boys’ golf (3-9) opened the week Wednesday, Oct. 2 with a lopsided loss to Marshfield, 239-258, despite senior captain Ian Brown earning match medalist by shooting 4-over par 38. … On Thursday, W-H dropped a close one to Hingham by the final score of 224-225. Senior captain Brian Fox paced the Panthers, shooting 1-over par 35.

Boys’ soccer (6-5-1) tallied 7-0 shutout over East Bridgewater on Monday, Sept. 30 to begin the week. Senior captain Jason Broduer (two goals and two assists), junior Peyton Collins (goal and an assist) and classmate Brendan Nehiley (two goals) led the scoring barrage. … On Wednesday, Dave Leahy’s team fell to Pembroke, 1-0. … The Panthers rebounded on Friday for a 4-1 win over Hanover behind a pair of goals from junior Joel Arsenualt.

Girls’ soccer (8-1-1) received a goal from sophomore Olivia Borgen with 17 minutes to go to top Pembroke, 1-0, Wednesday, Oct. 2. … On Friday, both sophomore Kelsee Wozniak and senior Erin Wood scored in a nine-minute span as W-H rallied to tie Hanover, 2-2. Junior Alexis Billings had the assist on both goals. Senior captain Samantha Perkins and sophomore Ava Melia anchored the defense.

Girls’ volleyball (8-4) swept Pembroke, 3-0, Wednesday, Oct. 2. The set scores were: 25-20, 25-17 and 25-18. Sophomore Abby Martin led the Panthers with nine kills and five solo blocks. … Then, on Friday, Samantha Richner’s team swept Hanover, 3-0. Junior Delaney Rowell had seven kills, while Abby Martin chipped in with four.

Girls’ soccer unbeaten through three weeks

Another week of fall sports is in the book at Whitman-Hanson Regional High.

Here is a look back on all the action:


Boys’ cross country (2-0) edged Plymouth North, 26-30, Wednesday, Sept. 18. Junior Theo Kamperides finished second over all with a time of 14:07 for the Panthers, who took three of the next four spots thanks to senior captain Brandon Hager (fourth, 15:02), sophomore Nathan Tassey (fifth, 15:07) and senior captain Adam Solari (sixth, 15:18).

Girls’ cross country (1-1) dropped a nail bitter to Plymouth North on Wednesday, Sept. 18 by the final score of 27-29. Sophomore Myah Kamperides led the way for W-H, placing first overall at 17:16, but the Blue Eagles took four of the next five spots.

Field hockey (0-5-1) continued to struggle, falling to Marshfield, 3-0, Tuesday, Sept. 17. … On Thursday, the Panthers then fell to Silver Lake, 3-1. Junior Christina Short got the Panthers on the board first, but it was all Lakers from there.

Football (0-3) fell to New Bedford, 27-7, on Saturday, Sept. 21. Senior Jon Zeiden had seven catches for 50 yards in the loss.

Boys’ golf (3-4) went two for three in Week 3. Brian Dempsey’s club just nipped Plymouth South, 275-277, Tuesday, Sept. 17, on the back of a 2-over par 38 from junior Aidan Miller. … The following day, Miller continued to stay hot, carding a 4-over par 40 but the Panthers fell to Silver Lake, 280-289. … On Thursday, the seniors found their strokes, and W-H walloped Quincy, 259-318. Senior captain Matt Korzec shot an even par 36, and fellow senior captains Ian Brown and Brian Fox both registered 6-over pars.

Boys’ soccer (3-3-1) beat Plymouth North, 3-1, Monday, Sept. 16. Junior Peyton Collins tallied a goal and an assist, while both senior captains Jason Brodeur and Stevie Kelly had goals. … On Wednesday, Broduer scored twice, as the Panthers shut out Martha’s Vineyard, 3-0. Junior Joel Arsenault had two assists, and Collins added a goal and an assist. … On Friday, the boys fell to Silver Lake, 3-1. Broduer had W-H’s goal.

Girls’ soccer (5-0) tallied three goals in an eight-minute span to rally past Plymouth North, 3-1, Monday, Sept. 16. Senior Erin Wood notched the score with 20 minutes remaining and senior captain Samantha Perkins gave the Panthers the lead when she headed home a corner kick from classmate Anika Floeck. Sophomore Kelsee Wozniak tacked on some insurance with 10 minutes to go. On Friday, David Floeck’s team routed Silver Lake, 5-1. Wozniak, junior Ana Sullivan, sophomore Nora Manning, senior captain Zoe Cox and sophomore Olivia Borgen (also three assists) all scored for W-H.

Girls’ volleyball (5-2) topped then-undefeated North Quincy, 3-1, Monday, Sept.16. Senior Marissa Connell shinned for the Panthers with four kills and six solo blocks, while sophomore Lily Welch pitched in three kills and three solo blocks. … On Wednesday, the girls dropped a tough one to Plymouth North, 3-0. Each set was dropped by two points. Sophomore Abby Martin paced the losing Panthers with four blocks and four kills. … On Friday, Samantha Richner’s team topped Plymouth South, 3-1, behind 12 kills and 12 blocks from Welch.

Cross country, girls’ soccer soar in Week 2

The Whitman-Hanson Regional High girls’ soccer team and the boys’ and girls’ cross country teams are unbeaten through Week 2.  


Here’s how all the action played out:  

Boys’ cross country (1-0) opened its season with a 25-34 triumph over Plymouth South, Wednesday, Sept. 11. Junior Theo Kamperides took home first place, covering the course in 16:43.  

Girls’ cross country (1-0) also won its season opener, 23-34, Wednesday, Sept. 11 against Plymouth South. Sophomore Myah Kamperides won the race at 21:31. 

Field hockey (0-3-1) tied Duxbury, 1-1, to open the week Tuesday, Sept. 10. Senior Robin Goyette had the Panthers’ goal. … On Thursday, Todd Humphrey’s team was shut out by Hingham, 5-0.  

Football (0-2) blew a 10-0 lead and fell to Hanover, 20-10, Friday, Sept, 10. Sophomore Will Stafford accounted for 102 total yards of offense in the loss.  

Boys’ golf (1-3) fell to Hingham, 245-265, Tuesday, Sept. 10. Sophomore Pat McBroom led the Panthers with a 2-over par 38. … On Wednesday, Junior Aidan Miller carded a 4-over par 40, as the Panthers picked up their first win of the season, 272-297, over Plymouth North. … Brian Dempsey’s club capped the week with a 267-274 loss to Plymouth North on Thursday.  

Boys’ soccer (1-2-1) lost to Scituate, 4-1, Monday, Sept. 9. Sophomore Adam Sousa had the goal. … On Wednesday, W-H fell to Hingham, 1-0, on a late goal with 90 seconds to go. … Then, on Friday, Junior Brendan Nehiley scored in the 79th minute, as W-H earned a 1-1 draw against Cohasset. 

Girls’ soccer (3-0) topped Scituate, 4-2, Monday, Sept. 9. Sophomore Olivia Borgen led the way with a hat trick, while classmate Kelsee Wozniak also scored. … On Wednesday, W-H topped Hingham, 4-0. Sophomores Nora Manning, Ava Melia, Wozniak and junior Alexis Billings all scored.  

Girls’ volleyball (3-1) defeated Marshfield, 3-1, Monday, Sept. 9. Senior captain Lexi Connolly had eight aces, while fellow senior captain Maya Faich posted 21 digs. …On Wednesday, first-year head coach Samantha Richner’s team topped Scituate, 3-0, behind five kills from senior Marissa Connell. … The Panthers suffered their first loss of the season, 3-1, against Hingham on Friday.

Mixed results in Week 1

There were some mixed results on the field and course in the first week of the fall sports season at Whitman-Hanson Regional High. 


Football (0-1) fell to Concord-Carlisle, 34-21, Friday, Sept. 6. Sophomore quarterback Conor Meehan (10 of 14 for 203 yards, 3 TDs) hooked up with senior wide receiver Colby Garden (five catches for 128 yards, 3 TDs) for three touchdowns. W-H went up 14-0 early but couldn’t hold on. 

Field hockey (0-2) succumbed to Pembroke, 3-2, in its first action of the fall on Tuesday, Sept. 3. The goals were provided by sophomore Joli Flamos and junior Nicole Clack. … On Thursday, the Panthers fell to Plymouth North, 2-1. Junior captain Lauren Clark scored the lone goal in the defeat.   

Boys’ golf (0-1) fell in its first match of the season to Scituate, 248-253 on Thursday, Sept, 5. Senior captain Matt Korzec was the low scorer for the Panthers, carding a 3–over par 37. 

Boys’ soccer (1-0) opened its season without a problem, taking care of Plymouth South, 5-1, Wednesday, Sept. 4. Juniors Brendan Nehiley and Peyton Collins led the way with a goal and an assist each, while senior captain Jason Brodeur, senior Adam Milewski and sophomore Jayden Stafford all added single tallies. Junior Joel Arsenault and sophomore Alex Kuzmich also had assists.  

Girls’ soccer (1-0) also cruised in its opener, shutting out Plymouth South, 6-0, Wednesday, Sept. 4. Sophomore Olivia Borgen had a hat trick to pace the revamped offense. Sophomores Nora Manning, Kelsee Wozniak and senior Anika Floeck also scored. 

Girls’ volleyball (1-0) rolled past Abington, 3-1, Wednesday, Sept. 4 to open the year 1-0. Senior captain Lexi Connolly racked up eight aces, while junior captain Maya Faich totaled 19 digs. Senior Marissa Connell added four blocks in the triumph.

Boys’, girls’ hoop fly high in Week 5

Looking back on Week 5.


In their only games of the week, the boys’ and girls’ basketball teams took care of business.

Boys’ basketball (6-2) downed Duxbury, 66-55, Friday, Jan. 4. Junior Ben Rice led the way with 24 points and sophomore Cole LeVangie added 14 to pace the Panthers.

Girls’ basketball (5-2) edged Duxbury, 44-42, in a thriller Friday, Jan. 4. Senior Anna O’Neill hit the winning 3-pointer with 1:23 to go. Junior Brittany Gacicia produced a team-high 13 points to guide the Panthers to their fifth straight win.

Boys’ hockey (4-4-1) opened its week by doubling up Cohasset, 6-3, Wednesday, Jan. 2. Freshman John Ward led the offensive outburst with two goals, while sophomore Kevin Willis, junior Chris Stoddard, junior assistant captain Adam Solari and senior captain Ed Scriven all added tallies. … On Saturday, Solari and junior Calvin Cooper struck for goals in the third but the Panthers fell to Quincy, 5-2.

Girls’ hockey (0-5), despite a hat trick from junior captain Alyssa Murphy (Kingston), was nipped by Pembroke, 5-3, Saturday, Jan. 5. The Panthers drew within 4-3, but an empty-netter sealed the Titans’ win.

Boys’ indoor track (2-1) bested Hingham, 51-48, Friday, Jan. 4. The 4×200 relay team of Sean Kukauskas, Billy Martell, Nic Fernandes and Pat Bui clinched the Panthers’ win. Other wins came from Brandon Hager (mile, 4:52.08), Martell (shot put, 40-foot-7), Kyle O’Brien (600m, 1:30.20), Theo Kamperides (2-mile, 10:40.60) and Kakauskas and Jake Caterer both tied for first in the high jump with 5-foot-2 leaps.

Girls’ indoor track (0-3) fell to Hingham, 55-41, Friday, Jan. 4. Senior captain Ally Bartlett took first in the 55-meter hurdles (:09.64) and scored second in the long jump (14-foot-11 ½) and shot put (23-foot-7). Other winners included sophomores Isabelle Amado (1,000m, 3:14) and Anna Sullivan (mile, 5:58) and junior Tori Carleton (2-mile, 13:40).

Gymnastics (0-5) fell to Plymouth on Friday, Jan. 4 by a 124.45-114 score. Senior Sarah Bombardier finished with a 30.1 all-around score to lead the co-op.

Boys’ swimming/diving (2-2) fell to Hanover, 87-85, Thursday, Jan. 3.

Girls’ swimming/diving (3-1) dropped its meet to Hanover also Thursday, Jan. 3 by a 94-88 decision. Sabrina O’Connor, Madison Navicky, Niki Kamperides, Abigail Bonney, Lillian Graham and Mariella Crowley performed well in the defeat.

Wrestling (3-12) hosted its Panther Invitational and sophomore Damari Goldsmith-Greene placed third at 138 pounds.

Keeping score in Week 4: Panthers claim pair of tournament titles

A look back on Week 4.


The Whitman-Hanson Regional High sports teams triumphed to a pair of tournament titles – one on the court and one on the ice – in a victory-filled Week 4.

Boys’ hockey (3-3-1) defeated Cashman Tournament host Rockland, 3-0, in the first round Wednesday, Dec. 26. Junior Ed Collins sparked the offense with two goals and senior assistant captain Adam Solari had the other. Sophomore Bobby Siders earned the shutout in net. … On Saturday, the Panthers topped Southeastern/West Bridgewater/Bristol-Plymouth, 3-2, to take home their first Cashman Tournament title. Goals came from freshman John Ward, junior Chris Stoddard and senior assistant captain Owen Manning, and Siders collected the win in net.

Boys’ basketball (5-2) collected two wins in its annual trip to Florida. After kicking off the Haines City Tournament with a 68-60 loss to Colonial High School (Fla.) on Thursday, Dec. 27, the Panthers rebounded for back-to-back wins. … On Friday, Bob Rodgers’ club, keyed by 26 points from junior Ben Rice, shot its way to an 84-75 victory over Archbishop McCarthy (Fla.). Senior captain Joey Depina and junior John Zeidan dumped in 12 points apiece in the victory. … Before staying for a few more days to soak up the sun, the Panthers capped their tournament schedule with a 63-57 win over Viera High (Fla.) on Saturday. Rice led the way with 13 points, totaling 53 over the three games en route to being named to the all-tournament team.

Girls’ basketball (4-2), competing in the Hoosac Valley Holiday Tournament, rallied back from a double-digit deficit to knock off host Hoosac Valley, 51-46, in overtime Friday, Dec. 28. Senior captain Kathryn Dunn sparked the first-round win with 15 points, including a late 3-pointer to force the extra frame. Junior Liv Martin also had 15 points, 12 of which came from the 3-ball, in the win. … On Saturday, Dunn (tournament MVP) was at it again, netting a game-high 18 points, including the winning trey, as Jenna Olem’s club claimed the tournament title with a 42-38 win over Greenfield.

Girls’ hockey (0-4), despite an offensive outburst, dropped a close one to Marshfield, 7-6, Thursday, Dec. 27. Junior captain Alyssa Murphy (three goals), sophomore Ellie Grady (two goals) and freshman Lily Ulvila (one goal), all of whom go to Silver Lake, sparked the offense. … On Saturday, the co-op lost to Archbishop Williams, 8-1. Freshman Abby Powers (Kingston) had the goal.

Week 3: Girls’ swim/divers top charts

A look back at Week 3.

Week 3 is in the books at Whitman-Hanson Regional High. Girls’ swimming/diving remains the only undefeated team, while girls’ basketball has collected two straight victories.

Boys’ basketball (3-1) defeated North Quincy, 6834, Tuesday, Dec. 18 behind 10 points apiece from juniors John Zeidan and Stevie Kelly. … On Friday, the Panthers topped Marshfield, 65-49. Junior Ben Rice paced Bob Rodgers’ club with 17 points.

Girls’ basketball (2-2) routed North Quincy, 70-25, Tuesday, Dec. 18. Junior Brittany Gacicia sparked the offense with a career-high 18 points. … On Friday, W-H received a double-double from senior captain Kathryn Dunn (12 points and 10 rebounds) to down Marshfield, 39-29. Senior Meg Henaghan added four blocks and 10 boards in the win.

Boys’ hockey (1-2-1) fell to Plymouth North, 4-0, Wednesday, Dec. 19.

Boys’ indoor track (1-1) was dealt a 78-22 defeat to Hingham on Friday, Dec. 21.

Girls’ indoor track (0-2) was also dealt a defeat to Hingham on Friday, Dec. 21, 73-27.

Gymnastics (0-4) lost to Scituate, 118.8-116.3, Wednesday, Dec. 19. Senior Sarah Bombardier won all-around with a 31.9. … On Friday, the co-op scored a 113.6 and lost to Pembroke/Silver Lake (135.1), Marshfield (131.75) and Hingham (124.9).

Boys’ swimming/diving (2-1) received solid performances from senior Nate Manley in the 50-yard freestyle and 200-yard medley relay to tame the Bulldogs of Rockland, 9365, Tuesday, Dec. 18.

Girls’ swimming/diving (3-0) remained undefeated with a 90-72 victory over Rockland on Tuesday, Dec. 18. Junior Madison Navicky broke her time in the 200-yard freestyle, while Abby Bonney and Katelyn Sweeney performed well in the 200-yard medley relay.

Wrestling (1-9) was defeated by Silver Lake, 38-33, Wednesday, Dec. 19. Wins came from sophomores Myles McInnis (113 pounds), Matt Butler (126), Damari Goldsmith- Greene (138) and Nate Morse (145) and junior Mike Gardner (220).

A look back on Week 2.


The winter action is in full swing at Whitman-Hanson Regional High.

Boys’ basketball (1-1) received 21 points from junior Ben Rice and 15 from classmate Colby Ahern to defeat Quincy, 63-52, in its opener Tuesday, Dec. 11. The Panthers outscored the Presidents 36-20 in the second half to erase a five-point deficit. …On Friday, W-H fell on the road, 58-55, to Hingham. Sophomore Cole LeVangie paced Bob Rodgers’ club with 14 points.

Girls’ basketball (0-2) fell to Quincy, 57-44, on the road in its opener Tuesday, Dec. 11. Junior Brittany Gacicia was the Panthers’ high scorer with 11. … On Friday, Jenna Olem’s team hosted and fell to Hingham, 42-34. Senior captain Olivia Johnson dumped in eight points and snatched seven boards in the defeat.

Boys’ hockey (1-1-1) skated to a 4-4 tie against Silver Lake on Wednesday, Dec. 12. Junior Eddie Collins scored twice, while senior captain Ed Scriven and junior assistant captain Adam Solari both added goals. … On Saturday, despite a hat trick from junior Chris Stoddard, W-H still fell to Scituate, 5-4, in a back-and-forth affair.

Boys’ indoor track (1-0) edged Duxbury, 51-49, Wednesday, Dec. 12. Wins came from sophomores Liam Cafferty (mile, 4:58.41) and Theo Kamperides (2-mile, 10:48.76), juniors Brandon Hager (1,000m, 2:54.19) and Pat Bui (300m, :40.85) and senior captain Dan Kline (55m hurdles, :09.62).

Girls’ indoor track (0-1) fell to Duxbury, 59-41, Wednesday, Dec. 12. Senior captain Ally Bartlett (:09:70) produced a win in the 55-meter hurdles as did sophomore Izzy Amado (3:24.15) in the 1,000-meter run and senior Maeve McDonough (12:59.17) in the 2-mile run.

Boys’ swimming/diving (1-1) fell to North Quincy/ Quincy, 86-78, on Monday, Dec. 10. … The co-op upended Randolph, 91-71 on Friday.

Girls’ swimming/diving (2-0) swam past North Quincy/ Quincy, 99-80, on Monday, Dec. 10. In the 100-meter backstroke, junior Madison Navicky clocked in at 1:13.47. … On Friday the co-op defeated Randolph, 88-50. Navicky qualified for states and junior Nikki Kamperides set a personal-best in the 100-meter backstroke with a time of 1:23.59.

Wrestling (1-8) was downed by Plymouth North, 48-30, Wednesday, Dec. 12. Wins via pin came from sophomore Matt Butler (126 pounds), senior Joel McInnis (152), junior captain Tyler Cullinan (170), freshman Jason Rapoza (182) and senior captain Christian Schneider (195). … On Saturday, the Panthers went 1-4 on the day in a super-quad meet. The victory came against Pembroke by a score of 41-39, while the losses came to Marshfield (42-39), Toll Gate, Rhode Island (42-39), Oliver Ames (60-18) and Duxbury (54-23). Butler finished the day 4-1 to lead Gary Rabinovitz’ young team.
