Wednesday, 05 August 2009 15:20

An unwanted guest was arrested last Thursday on Myrtle Avenue.

Cruisers were dispatched to a Myrtle Avenue residence for a report of an unwanted guest.

Upon Officer Sirignano’s arrival he spoke with the calling party, who had a torn t-shirt. The caller informed the officer his girlfriend was inside the apartment refusing to leave, according to Police Chief Christine May-Stafford.

The victim said when he called 9-1-1 his girlfriend had struck him several times and hit him in the face with a coffee cup.

Police arrested Denise Richards, 48, of Plymouth, for assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
